Do you desperately want to become that plannergirl that you have always dreamt of being? That perfectly organised teenager, that has a plan for everything. Well, you can't. I mean we are humans. A step further than that.... we are teenagers. Yes we can plan and organise to a certain extent, but I want you to read this blog without having this "this is the answer to everything expectation" Ready? 1. The number one tip I can give you as a learning plannergirl is to be able to "let go". Having a plan is a very good thing. But if having a plan means throwing away your spontaneous side, or not doing this now because "it's now what I planned for", then planning is not always the answer. I've learned that instead of planning for the expected, you often have to plan for the unexpected too. This way, if something goes wrong, you're not that surprised or upset. If it happens that you did not plan for the unexpected, I would advise you to let go like I mentioned at the beginning. Don't kick up a fuss because things aren't going your way (I know you might want to, believe me) instead, let go of the initial plan and say "well let's go with the flow" 2. Get the right stationary Ok girls(or guys), I know you might be thinking, "this is irrelevant" but for me, planning came quite naturally when I had things I enjoyed using. Sure, you probably get that person who likes using scrap paper, and a pencil, but I'm (and I assume most girls are) not one of them. I think that using a planner/calendar/diary that you really like is quite important in learning to enjoy planning. Take some time to decide and shop around for the things you think you might like to plan with. This doesn't need to be an expensive shopping spree, it's just something to motivate you when you don't feel like planning ahead 3. Take the first step Now that you've read most of this blog, and now that you probably feel inspired to become a plannergirl (or guy) take that first step. You can even start with what you have until you can buy some Neetli calendars or planners. If you would like to start for free, check out my free printables available on my Instagram.
